Suffolk Artist Blacksmith

I am an artist blacksmith based in Lowestoft suffolk. Inspired by nature, I work primarily in iron and bronze. I am fascinated by the contrast between the perception of delicacy and fragility of life forms and threatened environments compared to the sense of permanence and solidity given by the materials I use, which are also of the earth. From botanical studies to nature impressions, I continually push the limits of what is possible with the materials I work with and I experiment to find a harmony between modern technologies, such as computer design and 3D printing, and the time honoured arts of traditional renaissance bronze casting and blacksmithing.
